Information

This course combines Ancient Greek and Roman History and Classical Literature. It is an excellent choice if you want to go on to university (we have links with many, including Oxford University) or if you would like a career in the Civil Service, law, teaching or journalism, for example.

At AS you will study The Odyssey and Society and City Life in the Ancient World, with particular reference to Rome and Pompeii (you will have the opportunity to visit these cities in Italy). The A2 module covers Roman Britain and Virgil The Aeneid.

From September 2018 we are combining our Tower Hamlets and Hackney campuses and bringing it all together in one new dedicated centre for A Level students. The Attlee A Level Academy will be focused on academic achievement and university progression.
