Level 3/4 UAL Foundation Diploma in Art and Design
The Foundation Diploma in Art and Design is structured to allow you to develop a level of maturity in intellectual, critical and practical skills appropriate for higher level study. You will develop skills required for visual research and development of ideas which will resolve in portfolio ready Art and Design work.

5 GCSEs (grades 9-4) including English and maths (grades 9-4), and satisfactory results in a relevant Level 3 qualification (Merit/Distinction) or 1 A Level, at grade C or above, in an art and design subject.
You will also complete an interview with a portfolio of artwork. All equivalent international qualifications are welcome, as are applications from mature students with alternative qualifications and/or work experience.
All applicants will be invited to attend an interview and asked to present a portfolio of their art and design work which should demonstrate their aptitude and enthusiasm for the subject.

Higher Apprenticeships (Level 4/Foundation Degree), University to study a specialised vocational degree or Honours Degree.
