Level 2 Diploma in Plumbing Tue and Wed 6-9PM


This course is aimed at students who are 16+ and for candidates who want to work as plumbers in the building services engineering sector.

Study Pattern: The Part Time (evenings) Electrical Installations Level 2 course takes place on 2 evenings a week during term time, typically, one evening will be practical and one evening theory. (At this time these evenings are expected to be Tuesday and Wednesday from 6pm 9pm)

Attendance will need to be at least 90%, to qualify. In addition all learners will be required to undertake at least 3 hours independent, home study a week

Where does it lead:

Following this course you have a number of options: It allows candidates to progress into employment, though not as a fully qualified plumber, or to the following City and Guilds qualifications:

  • Level 3 NVQ Diploma in Plumbing and Heating
  • Level 3 Diploma in Plumbing Studies

Plumbing Careers: Plumbers are employed in the installation of new plumbing components or the maintenance and repair of existing plumbing infrastructures.
