This qualification covers the general range of areas related to the skills and knowledge required for working as a legal secretary.
You will cover the main areas of law in a solicitor's office such as criminal, civil, probate, corporate and conveyancing You will study for a proofreading exam which must be passed to gain the qualification.
You must undertake one week of work experience in a professional organisation either in the city or in a local law firm. We are fortunate to be visited on a regular basis by city and local law firms keen to recruit suitable students for employment after their course.
