Academically, you will study towards the BTEC Level 3 Extended Certificate in Sports Coaching which will develop the practical skills and theoretical knowledge you will need to succeed in your chosen career.

The Extended Certificate is a one-year course, however the vast majority of students will stay on into year 2 to complete the BTEC Level 3 Diploma in Sports Coaching.

Additionally, you will have access to a range of high-quality work placements which will allow you to enhance your skill set in a real-life environment. These placements include local primary and secondary schools, sports clubs and county level coaching organisations.

As you progress through the programme, you will enhance your coaching and leadership portfolio designed to make you more employable and provide you with a springboard into your chosen career pathway; or progression to university.
