What Can This Course Lead To

Successful completion of the Level 3 course can lead to progression to further studies in the plumbing and heating industry or in the construction sector, such as HNC or HND qualifications. Students can go straight into employment after the Level 3 course or begin an apprenticeship. Former students have gone on to careers such as Designer Estimators, Project Managers, Site or Workshop Supervisors, Chartered Engineers and Commercial Managers.

Whilst this sector doesn’t currently have a ‘Licence to Practice’ our apprenticeships are recognised as fulfilling the competence requirements of the voluntary card schemes and will enable students to register on a relevant industry-recognised Certification Scheme which is evidence that an operative is deemed competent to carry out a particular job role effectively and safely.
