Level 2 Gateway Diploma in Skills for Health and Social Care

All full-time students will be required to study Functional Skills at the appropriate level. These will be in English, maths and ICT. Work experience forms a mandatory part of the course. Students will produce a range of assignments on a wide variety of topics related to health and social care.

The placement is an essential aspect of the course and will prepare students for work, or progression onto Level 3. Students will need to undergo an Enhanced DBS check

Entry Requirement:

4 GCSEs at grade 3, or an equivalent Level 1 vocational qualification. The requirement to have grade 3 in English and / or maths will vary according to the subject and we can discuss your grades with you

Level 3 BTEC 90 Credit / Extended Diploma in Health and Social Care. Apprenticeship or employment in the health and social care sector
