The course will give you an understanding of the knowledge and skills needed to care for children. YOU will learn how to manage and support the needs of children, their learning and development, children's growth, health and safety and safeguarding. The course looks at the influences on a child's development and gives you the skills to provide effective early year's services. You will need to have 2 or 3 GCSEs at grade 2 or above including English Language and maths. You will be required to apply for an enhanced DBS check
