This qualification will enable you to work as a junior barber in a salon or as self employed barber.

Entry requirements
Although some hairdressing experience would be desirable it is not essential.
You must be able to commit to at least three hours per week of home study; have a good level of written and spoken English and computer skills.

This course would be an ideal add-on qualification for those who have completed a Level 2 in Ladies Hairdressing and for those aspiring to become a Barber. You will learn all aspects of Barbering/ men's hairdressing including cutting and styling gents hair.
You will study:
- Health and safety
- shampoo and conditioning
- styling men's hair
- cutting men's hair
- cutting facial hair
