Are you looking for a meaningful career where you can make a difference to people's lives every single day? If the answer is yes then we have the course for you.

This course programme provides you with knowledge and skills to work as a Care Assistant and will prepare you for the Level 1 award.  This course focuses on early years, young people, adults and people with additional learning or physical needs.

Key topics:

  • an understanding of equality diversity and inclusion
  • safeguarding training for a range of service users
You will be supported to attend a relevant work placement to shadow experienced staff who will then help you develop your skills.  Examples of suitable settings could be a care home, day centre, hospital or a community mental health unit or a dementia club.  We can help you to organise suitable placement experience depending on your interests and goals.
