What is Forest School?
Forest Schools are nature-based communities where trained practitioners nurture learner-led exploration and discovery, nurturing meaningful experiences for positive lifelong impacts. Forest Schools develops confidence and self-esteem in children through learner inspired, hands-on experiences in a natural setting.
The Level 3 qualification covers how to facilitate groups in a learner-centred way, and how to manage a Forest School site sustainably. It also covers the practical skills required of a Forest School Leader.
Our courses are rewarding, full of variety (with practical experience in college as well as a work placement in an early years setting) and offer progression and several career paths as you grow in experience and confidence.
