Course overview

Do you have the enthusiasm, drive and commitment to work in medical sales? Our employability course will equip you with the knowledge you need to successfully gain employment in health and social care. You will achieve accredited level 2 qualifications and may be invited to interview for a career in medical sales.

Course content

Weeks 1 – 4

Award in Employability
Key Principles and Values in the NHS
Level 2 Certificate in Understanding Data Protection and Data Security
Level 2 Certificate in Principles of Customer Service
Level 2 Certificate in Equality and Diversity

Weeks 5 – 6

Level 2 Certificate in Understanding Infection Prevention and Control
BSMA Unit in Medical Terminology
Introduction to Credentialing
IT skills for presentations

Entry Requirements
To attend this course you must:

Be aged 19 and over
Be legally allowed to work in the UK
Have lived in the UK for the last three years
Be claiming work-related benefits such as Jobseeker’s Allowance or Housing Benefit
Pass a short assessment for English and Maths

Monday to Friday, 9.30 am – 3.30 pm
