These short 15 hour courses are free and can help boost your confidence in using numbers at work or in everyday life.

Brush up on your everyday number skills for free

Multiply is a new FREE fully-funded programme to help adults improve their confidence with numbers and help with everyday life.

Whether you need help in managing your bills, preparing for life in the UK, cooking on a budget or you want to improve your potential at work, we can help. These courses can be tailored to your needs and will provide personalised support.

Multiply courses are available at all campuses with daytime and evening options. In addition to the main pathways below, we can tailor these courses to your needs.

These short 15 hour courses and are suitable for both beginners and those who want to build on the foundations of their maths knowledge. We offer a flexible options of study so you will be able to learn at a pace that suits you.

To apply, please select the ‘Multiply: Everyday Number Skills‘ course at your local campus and we will be in touch with you to discuss your preferred pathway and study option.

We are enrolling now at our Hackney, Tower Hamlets, Ardleigh GreenRainham, Havering Sixth Form and Ilford campuses.

To enrol, come along between:

10 am – 12 pm  and  2pm-4pm
Monday – Friday

Please note the following enrolment times for our Ilford Campus:

Morning: 10 am – 12 pm 
Monday – Friday

Afternoon: 4pm – 6pm 
Monday and Wednesday only

To be eligible for these FREE courses you must meet the following criteria: aged 19, not already have a GCSE at grade C (or equivalent) in maths, have a London postcode.

  • How long is this course?

    Each course is 15 hours in total.

    Study for three hours each week, over five weeks.

    Options for intensive study are also available.

  • When can I study?

    Multiply is available at all our campuses, with both daytime and evening options.

    Choose from:

    • Morning: 9:30 am – 12:30 pm
    • Afternoon: 11:30 am – 2:30 pm
    • Twilight: 4:30 pm – 7:30 pm
    • Evening: 6:00 pm – 9:00 pm

    Intensive study and online options may also be available for some courses.

Community Classes

Do you have a club or community group that is interested in a free session?  We can provide free classes for your community group.  Sessions can be tailored to your needs, topics include cooking on a budget, managing your bills, maths for everyday life.

Classes can take place at your meeting place, or on with us on your local campus.
