You should ideally have a Level 1 qualification in English and maths, however lower grades would be considered.
You are encouraged to study short English and Maths courses with us prior to course start. Places are limited on these courses, so early application is advised.

This is an introduction to Painting and Decorating. Within this course you will study a mixture of practical and theory units and will undertake practical tasks that include learning the basic techniques of painting and decorating including preaparing surfaces for work. You will also study, tools, resources and materials along with communication, health and safety and working as part of a team.
This course is suitable for those aged 19+ and looking to study on a part-time basis. Places are limited on these courses so early application is advised.

Assessment Criteria
You will be assessed by a combination of observation and completion of practical tasks, theory based assignments and an end-of-year examination which is taken online.
