Entry requirements

The only entry requirement is that you currently have a job, or have had experience of working within a company in an HR environment. You will need to complete coursework during the programme so your English writing skills need to be at least to GCSE standard.

Information

HR is about helping an organisation to create value through its people. The work of an HR professional will vary depending on the type and size of their organisation. CIPD qualifications will help you gain skills and knowledge in the areas of, for example, recruiting people, training and developing employees, employment law and protecting the rights of employees at work.

You will study four core units;

  • Business, culture and change in context
  • Principles of analytics
  • Core behaviours for people professionals
  • Essentials of people practice

 

  • Assessment Criteria

    The CIPD Level 3 course is broken down into units. At the end of each unit you will complete a written assessment which is marked by your tutor.

What Can This Course Lead To

Successful students at Level 3 will have developed Foundation Membership with CIPD and can continue studying by progressing to the Intermediate Level 5 CIPD course.
