Women's Hairdressing (Level 2 Diploma)

Course Overview

Entry requirements

You will need to have achieved 3 or 4 GCSEs at Grade 3 or above including English Language and maths.


This qualification is for those who are interested in beginning a career in hairdressing. Through this qualification, you will develop the knowledge understanding and skills to consult with clients and provide a range of basic cutting colouring and lightening services. You will also study setting, dressing blow-drying and styling hair.

What Can This Course Lead To

On successful completion of this course, you will be qualified to progress into a job in the industry as a junior stylist. You will also have the option to further enhance your skills and knowledge by progressing to an NVQ Level 3 Hairdressing qualification.
