Become an Apprentice

Gain a qualification and earn while you learn.

Get paid to learn

An apprenticeship is a real job, with a contract and holiday leave, where you learn, gain experience, and get paid.

Available in a wide range of industries, an apprenticeship will help you gain the right skills, knowledge and experience needed to work in your chosen industry.

You can become an apprentice if you are aged 16 and over and not already in full-time education – there’s no upper age limit.

Employers all over the UK recognise and value apprenticeships as qualifications that show you’ve been trained in the necessary skills they need. Employers get to see a fresh injection of talent. Keen, inquisitive and bursting with new ideas.

Apprentices get a win-win – real work, in a real company, training to get the skills companies really want, with a guaranteed salary.

Engineering, agriculture, fashion, food, armed forces – if you can think of it, there’s probably an apprenticeship available. From large corporations to agile start-ups, everyone’s getting involved.
