Jenny Hagger

Jenny joined the Access to Higher Education course after deciding to further her career as a primary school teacher. She left school before completing her GCSEs as she fell pregnant with her first child, but as time went on, she was in a better position to get back into studying and was recommended to the college by friends and family. She enjoyed every aspect of her course and was offered a place at the University of Cumbria to study primary education. Jenny said: “All the tutors at college were amazing and very supportive. I would not have been able to come this far without the support and encouragement of the college staff and my classmates. We all supported each other and regularly met up in the local library to study. I would thoroughly recommend this course and college.”
