Joe

Joe Woodger studied on our Supported Internship Foundation Learning course and is now employed as a key worker at Queen’s Hospital in Romford.

Joe works for Sodexo as a porter and was keen to keep up his job throughout the pandemic and the various lockdowns of the last year, getting brilliant feedback from his managers.

Joe has a diagnosis of ASD and epilepsy. He says he loves his job and is working every hour he is asked to – taking it all in his stride!

Sylvie Smith, Foundation Learning Senior Lecturer, said: “We are extremely proud of Joe. He has been carrying out key work during these uncertain times and he is happy and enthusiastic about it.”
