Age 16-18
Philip Aherne studied English Literature, History, Theatre Studies and General Studies, achieving grades AABB, before leaving Havering Sixth Form in 2006 to read English Language and Literature at Oxford University.
The former Hall Mead School student went on to study his Masters and then a PhD in English Literature (History of Ideas) at King’s College London.
He has been a Development Researcher at North One Television, as well as a private tutor, graduate teaching assistant and a freelance proof-reader.
Philip went on to become an Associate Producer at On The Corner films, where he helps to develop world class feature documentaries and formatted factual entertainment.
