Entry requirements

You will be expected to have English and Maths GCSE grade 4 or knowledge and experience of the construction industry.


This qualification is for students who wish to gain a nationally recognised qualification in construction and the built environment. This course includes units in construction principles, construction design and technology. It will give you a full understanding of this industry.

  • Assessment Criteria

    You will study 15 units across the 2 years. There will be 3 mandatory exams and the other units will be assesed internally.

Further Information

On successful completion of the course you can progress to Higher Education, employment or a Degree Level apprenticeship.
