On completion of this course you will be able to progress onto the Level 2 Certificate in barbering technique or the VRQ L2 Diploma in Hairdressing.

Entry requirements
Although some hairdressing experience would be desirable it is not essential. You must be able to commit to at least three hours per week of home study; have a good level of written and spoken English and computer skills.

This programme of study offers you the best options in Level 2 Hairdressing that you will need to work as a professional. You will learn and practice all aspects of hair techniques on a wide range of customers as well as on each other.
You will learn advanced techniques in both practical and theory. The department has two commercial themed salons fitted with excellent facilities to match that of the industry, all fitted with top of the range equipment. The staff are all fully trained to an advanced level and have considerable experience working within the industry. Students will complete practical assessments on real clients in our state of the art Beauty Salons using industry recognised products.
