Our next enrolment for adult courses will be Wednesday 17 April 2024. Please complete an application for a course you wish to study, and our customer service team will be in touch. Enrolment for 16-18 courses for 2023/24 has now closed, however we are accepting application for September 2024.

Are you an adult learner seeking to start a new course in April 2024?

You are just a few steps away from starting a new journey at New City College and we are excited to welcome you into our learning community!

Follow these steps to study with us in April 2024:

  • Make an application for a course starting in April 2024, and our customer service team will be in contact with you shortly after to advise you on when to come in to enrol.
  • Take a note of the enrolment date of Wednesday 17 April 2024.
  • Read the information on this page to prepare you for your enrolment.

Adult Enrolment Dates:

Wednesday 17 April 2024 – 2pm – 5pm – Ardleigh Green, Epping, Hackney, Redbridge and Tower Hamlets campuses.

  • What do I need to bring?

    Adults aged 19+:

    • yourself – you must enrol in person
    • ID – We will need to see a form of ID. For example, a passport, driving licence, bank statement, benefit paperwork etc.
    • Immigration / Residency Status – We will need to see your Passport, BRP Card / Home Office documents. If you are on a Spouse Visa or any other type of family dependent visa, we will need to see the passport / BRP card of the family member as well.
      • Please note, you can show us proof of income and immigration on your phone – it does not need to be paper copies.
    • Proof of income – We will need to see the following proof of income for yourself. If you are financially dependent on someone else (partner), we will need to see the same evidence for them:
      • Evidence of either benefit or low wage – 3 payslips, benefit paperwork or bank statements.
    • Proof of Qualifications – Please bring with you proof of all achieved qualifications (certificates, exam results). This includes Functional Skills English, Maths, ESOL or any other qualification you have achieved.
    • Membership fee – All adults aged 19+ will be required to pay a £30 college membership fee. Payments can only be made by debit/credit card, we do not accept cash.
  • How long does the enrolment process take?

    Please make sure you leave enough time to complete your enrolment.  You may be with us for up to 2 hours.

  • Can I bring my family members?

    To help us manage the number of people on campus, please do not bring young children or family members with you (unless they are enrolling too). However, should you need assistance at enrolment, just let our staff know on arrival.
