Entry requirements

This qualification has been designed to introduce you to a range of practical skills from across the hair and beauty industries. You will have the chance to learn in a practical environment that will prepare you for the world of work or further education

Topics

This is a City & Guilds qualification, it consists of 5 units, Colouring and Lightening hair, Consultation, Health & Safety, Styling hair and Working in the industry. The course is made up of practical work at the college, some theory and 3 hours a week of home working, research and completing assignments for the units. For practical assessments you will work on live models towards the end of your course to get your qualification.
