Course information

The course aims to teach you the specific skills required for making corsets. In the Autumn term, you will make a standard style corset provided by the college in order to learn how a corset is constructed. You will then continue to master the art of pattern cutting and making, with the construction of your own corset taking place in the Summer term.

There is an additional fee that covers some of the material costs, this will be paid in class. It is recommended that students attend the first term in order to gain a full understanding of the corset making process before making their own size / style.

Key topics

You will learn in a classroom setting, where you will learn techniques and put these into practice by creating your own garments.
  • How you are assessed
