Course information

The focus of this course is to introduce and develop the learner's basic independent living skills and incorporates accessing the community.

The course is hands on and involves the learners undertaking practical activities in and out of the classroom setting.

This course will provide students with the opportunity to gain and Entry1 qualification which focuses on social and life skills which are essential for living and working in the community.

  • Runs over four days per week.
  • Participate in enterprise activities and undertake work placement/experience, with support if required.
  • Learners are fully supported in and out of the class if required.
