Adult courses and qualifications will help you to get a great job, or secure a promotion.
At New City College we understand that the cost of living rise is causing pressure on your budgets, so we’ve removed adult course fees*.

Most courses have started. But don’t worry! Please still submit an application so that we can contact you to inform you of the next start date for your chosen course.

*New City College will pay the student’s fee part of all courses which are co-funded by the Government and/or GLA. To claim this discount you must show us evidence of your income including any benefits you receive when you enrol. The College has also removed the college membership fee for the remainder of this academic year.  This discount does not apply to full cost and commercial/business courses.

What you will need to successfully enrol:

  • Proof of income – We will need to see the following proof of income for yourself.  If you are financially dependent on someone else (partner), we will need to see the same evidence for them:
    • Proof of benefit (for example JSA, ESA, Universal Credit, Housing Benefit, Working Tax Credits)
    • Payslips for the last three months
    • Bank statements for the last three months showing receipt of benefits / wages
  • Immigration / Residency Status – If you have lived in the UK for less than three years, we will need to see your passport / BRP Card / Home Office document.  If you are on a Spouse Visa or any other type of family dependent visa, we will need to see the passport / BRP card of the family member as well.  It does not matter if you have lived in the UK for less than 3 years, if you have a London address (this rule changed on the 15th of November 2021).
  • Payment method if a fee is required (card payments only). We have removed all fees for courses that are part-Government funded. If there is no funding at all for your course, you will need to pay the fee shown, which we have kept as low as possible.

Please note, you can show us proof of income and immigration on your phone – it does not need to be paper copies.
