This course is a 'Free Courses for Jobs' course. This courses is free if you are not working, earn below the National Living Wage annually (£18,525), or do not already have a level 3 qualification. find out more
Most trainees on this course will have either a Level 2 qualification in catering or have experience in food service/ events, probably from a role where you work under supervision and you want to gain a formal qualification to take on a more senior role.
You will be interviewed before the course begins to discuss your career goals and aspirations, this will enable our team to create a personalised learning journey to get you to where you want to be.
On the course you will gain a strong understanding of all aspects of restaurant/ event management and health and safety. From day one you will be treated and expected to act like a professional. It’s all about building your employability skills, so we guarantee your training environment will be relevant, professional and vibrant to provide you with all the tools you need to make it in this wonderful industry.
Alongside your hospitality studies we will work to build your soft skills, confidence, self-esteem, resilience, professionalism and time management, essential requirements for a successful future!
This is a one year qualification where you will be placed on a learning programme including, English and Maths, tutorial, work experience and enterprise and entrepreneurship. If you already have your English and maths you will attend additional masterclasses.
