You will need to have completed the NVQ Level 2 Fabrication and Welding and have a minimum of four GCSEs at grade 4/C or above including mathematics and a science/technology subject.

The level three NVQ in Fabrication and Welding has been designed for those candidates who are progressing from Level 2, are training as a welder or fabricator, or people who are thinking about welding or fabrication as a career but who would like some experience of the job role first. It is also appropriate for people who are looking for a career change and wishing to learn new skills.
NVQ assessment will be continuous throughout the programme and will consist of a combination of practical work and portfolio building.
