Entry requirements

You will be expected to have GCSE English and Maths grade 4 or above.

You will also need to have studied successfully at Level 3, or have work experience suitable for the start of a higher level qualification.

Our typical entry requirement is 48 UCAS points from Level 3 qualifications including A Levels, BTEC Level 3 Diplomas, Access to Higher Education Diploma in Business, Scottish Highers, Advanced Highers, Irish Leaving Certificate, and Advanced Welsh Baccalaureate and MMP Extended Diploma.

An interview may be required before an offer can be made.

Course information

This exciting course is designed for students who wish to study at degree level the theory and practice of business and management, whilst gaining practical entrepreneurial practical skills in business. The course has the world of work imbedded in each module providing students with chances to get first-hand, real-life experience.

We'll empower you to develop your entrepreneurial flair whilst giving you a thorough grounding in business theory and practice. You'll work on fundraising and pitching skills and be encouraged to have your own creative thoughts about business opportunities.

  • It is a 2-year course and the second year is equivalent to Level 5 study.
  • Foundation degrees are vocational qualifications designed for the workplace
  • You can top up a Foundation degree to Level 6 with an extra year of study at university
