Skills for Pottery and Ceramics (September Evening (Tues))

Course Summary

This course provides an excellent opportunity to those who wish to explore a range of techniques with clay. By the end of the course you should be able to: Produce finished pieces in clay using a variety of ceramic techniques including: pinching, coiling, slab construction and throwing on the potters wheel develop clay skills and work on individual projects, learn surface decorative techniques such as slip, oxides and glazing techniques to obtain various results on clay.

You will be taught in a relaxed atmosphere and there will be demonstrations by the tutor, you will also received one to one guidance and support from the tutor to complete your projects. Open to beginners and intermediate students.
