Students and staff at New City College were celebrating today, after learning that the college had achieved its best ever student achievement rates.
Across all the campuses in the group, students delivered outstanding academic performance which has seen the college group as a whole perform well above the national average for 16-18 year old students.
At the Epping Forest campus, achievement has gone up by a whopping 13.6% higher than 2018 and its 16-18 results are over 3.5% higher than the national average. The Epping campus is now one of the fastest and best improved countries in the country.
Results at the Redbridge campus are also up massively, with a seven percent increase above the national average and at the Tower Hamlets campus, they are five percent above national average, delivering the campuses best ever results.
And, at the Hackney campus, students achieved the best overall achievement rate, again over the national average.
