What makes you most proud of being black

Traditional African clothing is one of the most elegant and beautiful dresses in the world! Different tribes throughout the continent pride themselves on their national dress which they use for ceremonies and special occasions.

We are asking students to Rep Your Tribe throughout #BlackHistoryMonth, by sending us pictures of wearing their African clothing one entry was Divine, from our SEND department.

Divine explains - "I wore black for my grandfather's funeral. I wore blue for church and this is the colour of the water around the village Okwagbe, where my grandfather is from. I wore light brown because this is a favourite colour of the Ondo Yoruba people."
