The team compromising of Fabbiha Begum, Rrezarta Ratkoceri, Nayab Shah and Hifza Amir, submitted their innovative idea "PRO-TECHT", which acts as a safety chip which can be installed in devices and activated in dangerous situations. The award was presented to the team at the Big Idea Challenge Award Ceremony held on the 26th April at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama.
After receiving this prestigious award Rrezarta said: "We were inspired to come up with this idea in order to protect the public. We want the public to feel safe and respected and hopefully, this can help decrease the number of assaults that happen on a regular basis."

New City College's Career Ready programme is open to ambitious students aged 16-18 who are studying towards a Level 3 Business Studies qualification; mixing a challenging curriculum with real-life experiences designed to inspire students to reach their full potential.
The Big Idea Challenge is open to colleges in London and is run by London Metropolitan University and supported by top businesses including NatWest, Microsoft and the charity the Princes' Trust.
