Three talented trainee chefs are celebrating after creating and presenting an exquisite three course meal under pressure at the Zest Quest Asia 2019 finals at the Hilton, Heathrow.

Their award-winning menu:
- * Duck Laska Lemak, Sambal Belacan
- * Gulai Kepala Ikan, Roti Cani, Fragrant Rice
- * Black Rice Pudding Cake, Black Coconut Ice Cream, Rice Wafer, Pandan & Mango Gel
Group Curriculum Director Sharon Sullivan said:
We are all so very proud of our student team. Reaching the final is an amazing achievement in itself and winning the award for the most creative dish is testament to their talent and impressive team work throughout this high pressure skills competition.
The Zest Quest Asia contest has high standing in the hospitality industry. The master cook-off took place at Mr Todiwala's Kitchen at the Hilton's Heathrow T5 Hotel after which the awards were announced at a high profile gala dinner.
The students train at New City College Hackney where their culinary creations are served at the college's renowned Open Kitchen restaurant on Hoxton Street, N1.
Zest Quest Asia was founded in 2013 by Cyrus and Pervin Todiwala in collaboration with the Master Chefs of Great Britain.
