College students enjoyed a taste of long-haul travel as a part of their studies with a visit to the popular Gulf travel destination of Dubai.
The students, who are all studying travel and aviation at the college's Epping Forest campus, enjoyed a week-long visit to the Gulf's premier travel destination, where they had a packed agenda everyday of educational visits and some fun activities in the City and in the desert.
A long-haul trip to Dubai helps to introduce the students to a popular travel destination and learn what is involved in planning and coordinating it
The students had also fundraised throughout the year to raise funds towards the trip.

A local guide also met the students and explained about the history of Dubai and how tourism as an industry has evolved there.
The trip ended with a fun trip into the desert, including a 4x4 jeep safari in the desert and camel rides, sand boarding on the sand dunes and a camp barbecue where the students learnt about the traditional Arabic culture of the Gulf and Dubai.
