Purpose Of The Committee

The Property Committee is responsible for the oversight of the property strategy and estate management. The Committee reviews the strategy in the context of the College’s strategic plan, seeking to ensure that college property and land meets the needs set out in the plan. It is responsible (subject to approval by the Corporation and in consultation with the Finance and General Purposes Committee) for the acquisition and disposal of land and property and advises on major refurbishment plans. Where the College regulations require the involvement of Governors in tender processes relating to property and accommodation, the Committee will carry out these duties.
