GCSE, Access to Science – now Degree!

Josh Bachu has had a journey with his time with us at Redbridge Campus New City College.

Josh (center of photo) came to us last year to study GCSE in Combined Science. He attended the evening class with the aim to get this qualification to meet the requirements towards a Degree in Paramedics.

“I have always wanted to be a Paramedic. I needed the GCSE as this is a qualification that I need for a degree in Paramedics. I attended two lessons a week with other adults and enjoyed the support from both staff and students

This year I attended the Access to Science course. The GCSE has helped me to get back into learning for the more demanding course. I have been successful in getting a place to study Paramedic Science at the University of Hertfordshire. The Access to Science course has enabled me to develop the skills to start this degree”
