Antonia Heslop

Antonia Heslop (now Bonello) went on to work as an Associate Creative Director at BuzzFeed UK. She worked closely with brands to create engaging content on BuzzFeed’s platforms (including Facebook, Instagram, and Snapchat), leading design, animation, illustration, photography, and interactive game content.

She project managed and led daily operations of the internal design department, including sourcing and co-ordinating locations, props, freelancers and post production. Her job also involved creating pitches and presenting to clients as well as increasing BuzzFeed UK’s brand awareness through public speaking at events and conferences.

Antonia, formerly of Langdon School and from East Ham, achieved grade As in A Level Graphics and Computing, an A in AS Photography and a B in A Level Accounts while at Havering Sixth Form College.

She then achieved a Distinction in the College’s Art & Design Foundation Diploma and left in 2008 to study Graphic Design at Central Saint Martins, University of the Arts London.

Her work led to her being shortlisted for Design Week Awards Rising Star 2016 and The Drum Content Awards for Best Branded Content Campaign 2017. She also won Silver at the Media Week Awards for BuzzFeed’s partnership with the Alzheimer’s Society charity group.
