Age 16-18
Nicky Ahadi achieved an incredible 3 A*s in Biology, Maths and Chemistry, despite only moving to the UK from Iran just before starting the Sixth Form. She will be going on to study Medicine after taking a gap year, where she will be working as a science and maths tutor with Yipiyap, a company that offers in-school support. Nicky said the hardest part for her was learning everything in another language and adjusting to life in a radically different environment following her move from Iran to Romford.
