Life Skills

This pathway is designed for students who require specialist provision and have a variety of support needs. It is suitable for students with severe learning difficulties and students who are autistic. The core aim is independence (through communication development).

This is a three year programmem which focuses on Sensory approach to learning, holistic integrated programme, independent living skills, use of money, shopping and cooking, improving health and wellbeing, personal safety awareness and how to lead a healthy lifestyle and develop self-advocacy skills, social skills, building relationships, organising and taking part in leisure activities

Interview and initial assessment at the College.
