Entry requirements

2 or 3 GSCEs at grade 2 or above including English and maths, If no GCSEs, college assessment at Entry Level 3 and successful completion of Entry level 3 qualification

Information

Compass is a flexible course designed for students who are undecided on where to progress to, unsure of what course they want to do, need additional support and time to progress, need to develop IT and work-related skills and need fundamental skills required to progress onto a more specific course, You will study a range of subjects which includeing, Self-assessment, Healthy eating (for those interested in sports, health or science), Health and social care, Art and Design, Interview skills, CV writing, Managing money in addition you will also attend functional skills maths and english classes.

We have recently invested £100k to equip the SEND Department with the very highest spec teaching facilities for students with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND). New facilities include training flats, a training cafe, new sensory rooms (both light and dark), wet rooms, break out and quiet spaces and new larger, more spacious classrooms all equipped with new computers and the latest technology.
