GCSE Science for Adults
On this intensive course, you will study for four separate exams (two for Physical Sciences and two for Life Sciences making up the Combined Science: Synergy).
Due to the volume of scientific principles covered, as well as their applications, students should be prepared to allow a minimum of 6 hours per week of individual study outside of lessons.
Study times are two classes of three hours per week. We currently offer a daytime class and an evening class on Tuesday and Thursday. 1:45pm - 5:00pm for daytime and 5:45pm - 9:00pm for the evening.Subject: GCSE

Where Does It Lead:
GCSE Science is an essential requirement for many careers, including Primary Teaching and the Health Professions. With a good GCSE grade there are a wide range of career options open to you, If you want to take your studies further, you could progress to an Access to Higher Education Diploma, and then to a degree course
If you have taken GCSE Science before, we would expect you to have a grade D in order to be successful on this intensive one year programme, If you have taken GCSE English and Maths, we would prefer you to have a grade C in at least one of these, If you have not taken GCSE Science before, or it is a long time since you have studied, we will ask you to take an assessment to look at your literacy and numeracy before accepting you on to the one-year GCSE courseCourse Duration:
