Purpose Of The Committee

The Finance and General Purposes Committee is responsible for the oversight of financial performance and human resource management. To do this, the Committee considers and advises the Corporation on matters relating to College policy and strategy. This includes human resources, health, and safety, financial matters including investment and borrowing, commercial activities, and strategic partnerships affecting global resources. The Committee also considers land, buildings, and estates, including acquisition and disposal, in conjunction with the Property Committee.
