  • Complete your online application

    October/November onwards

Make your application on our website. Ensure you have researched the course first as it is important that you choose a course that will suit you, your abilities and your future career aims.

  • Programme meetings

    January onwards

Some courses require that you attend a programme meeting. These will be held at college and will provide you with information and advice about your study programme to ensure that you are choosing the right course, or selection of subjects for A Levels, for you.

  • GCSE Exams

    May/June

Study hard for your GCSEs so you will have the best chance of enrolling on the course you want. Our friendly advisors are available to speak to or email if you have any questions or queries at this time regarding your application. Call 0330 135 9000 or email info@ncclondon.ac.uk

  • Applicant Taster Days

    July

During our Applicant Days, you will be able to sample taster lessons in your chosen courses. A Level students may also be able to attend sessions in other subjects that may be of interest to them. These days will also give you an opportunity to experience our friendly college campus atmosphere, look around our facilities and meet some of our teachers.

  • Exam Results

    August

You’ll need to bring your GCSE results with you when you come to enrol so that we can make sure that you have met any required entry grades and make sure that you join the course level that’s best for you.

If you have not achieved the required grades for the course you have chosen, or if you wish to change your course, this can be discussed at enrolment, where we will try our best to offer you an alternative course.

    Call 0330 135 9000 or email info@.ncclondon.ac.uk for advice.

  • Enrolment

    August/Early September

You will attend enrolment at the college to confirm your place on your chosen course. You should bring along your GCSE results.

If you have not achieved the required grades for the courses you have chosen, you must attend enrolment to discuss any alternative course that the college can offer.

  • Induction

    Early September

Induction marks the start of your college journey. You will meet your teachers and other students on your course, and discuss the commitment and standards expected of all our students, so that you have the very best chance of success.  You will find out about all the support you can access at college and your tutors and teachers will let you know how to access this support.

During Induction you will also have a library and IT induction where you will be given your college login details and we will make sure you know how to access all the systems and apps you will need as an NCC student.

Application process for SEND students

Students are supported by the SENCO at their school to complete a permission form which is sent to the local authority.

  • The SEN department at the local authority will then send the college a formal consultation letter and a copy of the student’s EHCP and Annual Reviews.
  • The college SEND department then reviews this information and arranges interviews or an observation to help make the decision about whether the college can meet the student’s needs.
  • The college informs the local authority whether they can support the young person’s needs.
  • The student should also make an application to the college at the same time.

For more information on the support offered to SEND learners, see our Foundation Learning SEND pages here

If you would like to speak to someone about support for SEND students and the courses available, or if you need help with an application, you can contact our advice teams on 0330 135 9000.
