New City College steps towards a greener future and joins the Tower Hamlets Climate Alliance

New City College is proud to announce its commitment to the Tower Hamlets Climate Alliance, joining a growing network of local businesses and residents who all have the same goal – tackling climate change and promoting sustainability across the borough.

The Tower Hamlets Climate Alliance brings together a diverse community of like-minded individuals and organisations all working towards the same shared purpose; to create a greener, healthier, and more resilient Tower Hamlets.

By becoming a member of the group, NCC is deepening its commitment to environmental responsibility and reducing emissions.

A New City College spokesperson said: “We’re delighted to have become part of the Climate Alliance and are looking forward to collaborating with so many passionate members of the Tower Hamlets community. Our goal is not only to reduce our carbon footprint, but to contribute to the wider movement of creating a sustainable future for everyone in the borough.”

New City College has joined the Tower Hamlets Climate Alliance, a network of local businesses and residents who all have one goal - tackling climate change and reducing emissions.

As part of the Alliance, NCC will work alongside other local stakeholders to share knowledge, support initiatives and drive progress towards the goal of achieving net-zero emissions.

To kick off this exciting new chapter, the Tower Hamlets Climate Alliance is hosting an official launch event on November 13, from 3pm to 4.30pm. The event will bring together the Alliance’s members to discuss the roadmap ahead and explore collaborative opportunities for making a difference to the environment.

As an early adopter of the Climate Alliance, New City College is excited about the plans and is committed to bringing about lasting change.

The Alliance is open to all who want to make a positive difference. Whether you’re a local business, community organisation, or an individual, your support can help grow the movement for a greener, healthier future. For more information and to register for the launch event, click here.
