Ellis Dale has been passionate about football and coaching from a young age so he didn’t hesitate to enrol on the Level 3 Sport course when he found out about New City College’s partnership with Tottenham Hotspur Football Club.
The Tottenham Hotspur Football Development Centre offers high-quality coaching and training through the club’s coaches and after signing up for the programme at Epping Forest campus, Ellis decided he definitely wanted to pursue a career in football coaching.
He said: “The Level 3 Sport course has helped me make up my mind about what I want to do in the future and it has helped me to understand what it takes to become an excellent coach. My dream would be to become a full-time coach with Tottenham and then travel abroad with the club to become an international coach.”
Ellis praised the tutors and facilities at New City College, saying: “The facilities and teaching here are great and to have contact with the coaches from Tottenham is amazing. Also my tutor Phil has been fantastic in supporting me. If I ever have any problems or don’t understand anything, he always does his best to help.”
