Tayla Burt

Tayla Burt gained 2A*s in Criminology and Sociology and an A grade in Business, despite having to cope with the death of a close friend soon after starting the Sixth Form. She will be going to the University of Greenwich to study Primary Education with QTS, and hopes to become a primary school teacher. The former Sanders School pupil said she had received fantastic support while at college, saying the staff often went above and beyond on a personal and academic level to help her. Tutor Keeley Knowles said: “Tayla is an outstanding student – every piece of work she submitted showed dedication and commitment to her studies, and was of an excellent quality. Her attendance and punctuality were exemplary and her attitude to learning was second to none. She is kind and thoughtful with everyone she meets and has demonstrated extraordinary resilience in the face of adversity. She thoroughly deserves the results she has achieved.”
