Early Years Practitioner NCFE CACHE (Level 2)

Course Overview

Course information:

The aim of this course is to prepare learners to work with children aged from birth to five years with knowledge of ages five - seven.

Study units include;

  • Theory of play
  • Child Development
  • Health and Safety
  • Childhood health issues
  • Working with children and parents

You must complete written assignments and produce a portfolio of evidence of work. You will be assessed for your perfromace in the workplace ( placement). You will be required to complete 250 placement hours and record evidence for this. An enhanced DBS check which should show a clean record before the start of the course is neccessary. The college can help with this.

    Grade 3 English Language GCSE or L1 Functional Skill English, Grade 3 Maths GCSE or L1 Functional Skill Maths, 4 GCSEs at Grade 3
