This study programme requires a minimum of 4 GCSEs at grades 3 or above, including English and Maths.
Grade 3 English Language GCSE or L1 Functional Skill English, Grade 3 Maths GCSE or L1 Functional Skill Maths

Course information

Study units include:

  • Duty of Care
  • Equality and Inclusion
  • Stroke Awareness
  • Working in Health and Social Care
  • Understanding Sensory Loss
  • Protection and Safeguarding in Health and Social Care

The course will also include:

  • Tutorial and mandatory work placement
  • GCSE maths/functional skills
  • GCSE English/functional skills

Students will need to undergo an Enhanced DBS check
